Pengertian Prepositional Phrase

Preposition biasanya diikuti oleh object. Object of a preposition tersebut dapat berupa noun (kata benda), pronoun (kata ganti), gerund (kata benda jadian), atau noun phrase (frasa kata benda). Prepositional phrase adalah gabungan antara preposition dengan object tersebut. Preposition yang digunakan dapat berupa one word preposition (terdiri dari satu kata) maupun complex preposition (gabungan antara preposition atau dengan part of speech lain). Part of speech tersebut diposisikan sebelum atau diantara dua preposition.
